Here is the supply list for the
suggested activities for next week, August 11-17. Feel free to improvise or to
adjust activities to fit your family's preferences, skills and time allotment.
Sunday: No supplies, but plan to stay
a few extra minutes following Mass to pray a short prayer.
Monday: Canned soup to donate to a food bank
(any quantity)
Thursday: Mass schedule for the Holy
Day of Obligation; plans and supplies for a feast at home (or plan to go out to dinner). You may want to make this dessert, using fresh strawberries, one can of sweetened condensed milk, chocolate sandwich cookies, and frozen whipped topping. Optional: A bouquet of
flowers to leave at the statue of Mary at your parish and/or seasonal fresh fruit, flowers and
a basket (any size/quantity) to prepare a gift for either your parish priest or somebody else you
wish to bless.
Friday: 11” x 17” yellow or gold card stock to make
crowns (each sheet should make two child-sized crowns); scissors, transparent
tape, markers, stickers, glitter glue, etc. as desired.
